Having a DOS shortcut ask for parameters when opening.

In Category: MSDos

You can have a Windows 98 shortcut to a DOS program ask you to enter your own parameters when opening the shortcut. To do this:

* First, you will need to create a shortcut to the DOS program.
* Once you have done this, right-click on the shortcut and click Properties.
* Click the Program tab.
* Now, simply add a question mark (?) to the end of the path in the "Cmd line" field.

Now, when you run the program from the shortcut, DOS will ask you to enter your own parameters.
