Common Editing Shortcuts

These keyboard shortcuts work in most software packages, and many of them work just about anywhere in Windows 2000. DEL: delete text CONTROL-X: Cut the selected text, placing a copy in the ClipBoard. CONTROL-C: Copy the current text to the ClipBoard. CONTROL-V: Paste the contents of the ClipBoard at the current cursor position (the ClipBoard contents remain, so you can past several times). CONTROL-Z: Undo the last keystroke. CONTROL-F: Find text CONTROL-H: Find and replace text
