Changing the colors of Windows NT |
In Category: Windows NT 4.0
To change the colors, simply: * Right-click the desktop (background of the standard Windows screen) and choose Properties. * Then you click on the Appearance tab (on the top of the window). * Now you can pick from some preset schemes in the Scheme pull-down menu. Make sure that the settings you have now are saved, because if you don\'t like the changes you make, you can always revert to the original color scheme you used to have. You can also change the colors of specific parts of Windows here, such as the Active Window, Message Box, Text, etc. by simply: * Clicking on them in the Display Properties window, or selecting it in the Item pull-down menu. * After selecting an item you can change its color by clicking on the Color box. * You can see what the items are going to look like in the preview box that is at the top of the Appearance dialog box. |
