Balky Start Menu After Booting Computer

To restore Start Menu responsiveness: If You Are NOT Part Of A Network Click [Start] [Run], type MSCONFIG and click [OK] Click the [Services] tab Remove the checkmark from \'Workstation\' and click [Apply] [OK] Reboot the computer. A \'reminder\' or \'nag\' screen will appear telling you that services have been disabled. Disable the reminders. If You Are Part Of A Network Click [Start] [Control Panel] [Network and Internet Connections] Click [Network Connections] Right click your network connection and select [Properties] Uncheck [File and Print Sharing] Reboot the computer. If needed, repeat the above steps and check [File and Print Sharing] followed by another reboot. The items on the [Start Menu] should be functioning norma
